BLOG PROMPT FOR 101.35

THIS BLOG PROMPT IS ONLY FOR 101.35, WHICH MEETS T/TH 10:35-11:50!

"What was the most important thing you learned in Boot Camp? Explain why."

REMEMBER THAT YOU SHOULD ONLY RESPOND TO THIS PROMPT IF YOU ARE IN 101.35 ONLY.

My response -

Well, I learned that, even if you plan things really well, as thoroughly as you think you can, there are always mistakes to be made. I feel like I made mistakes over the two weeks. There are things I wish we spent less time on - things I wish we spent more time on. I wish the revision process could have been dealt with better. I wish that we could have spent more time talking about putting together a whole, complete product. But that's okay - I have time to fix these mistakes throughout the semester. This is why I wanted to do boot camp. I knew that I would make these mistakes, or mistakes in general. Now I have 13 weeks still to figure all that stuff out - help you understand these issues/goals of English 101.
I hope that you also understand that this is a process. I don't expect any of you to just have this down right now. These skills may be new to some of you. That's okay - as long as you're willing to work on them together (and on your own) throughout the semester!

AGAIN, REMEMBER THAT YOU SHOULD ONLY HAVE RESPONDED TO THIS PROMPT IF YOU ARE IN SECTION 35.
